Evan is developing our New Economy program, which aims to foster a new conversation about, and new ideas for, meeting the challenges and seizing the opportunities of our rapidly evolving, 21st-century economy. In a previous role as ConnPIRG state director, he successfully defended public financing of elections, helped pass the nation’s first Student Loan Bill of Rights, and conducted and published research on the sales of unsafe used automobiles. Evan lives in Washington, D.C., with his partner, Anusha, where they enjoy distance running along the Anacostia River.
